Best Place for Bare root fruit trees #881097

Asked August 12, 2024, 2:25 AM EDT

What are recommended nurseries for bare fruit trees? I plan on planting several bare root fruit trees in the spring. I want to plant all the stone fruit I can. Peaches and apricots would be amazing if possible for my zone. As well as another pear tree to pollinate my luscious pear tree. Thank you

Thank you for your question to Extension. We do not recommend specific nurseries or products at Extension, so I would research and pick some of the larger, established nurseries in your area for fruit trees they offer. Many of them have great websites with good information, or there are many catalogs you could look over this fall. It's great to see you are interested in planting a variety of interesting fruit trees! Here is an Extension article about growing fruit trees in Minnesota:
