Lathyrus latifolius #881096

I read this vine is non native and can be invasive in some areas. Are there any herbicides I can use to kill the one in my garden. It has not spread but ground is full of large and small rocks and will be almost impossible for me to dig out. I plan to put an native vine here after this one is dead

Expert Response

You can use an herbicide that contains glyphosphate, like Roundup , which is probably your best bet with a plant like this that has persistent rhizomes. Please be sure to read the label on whichever product you buy and follow all directions.
