Unfortunately we and our extension agent cannot visit residences, we can only provide advice. There are so many alternatives to lawn but not all are native. I have included a link at the bottom to a wonderful tool called the Plant Toolbox that describes over 4000 plants. You can search for whatever you want, which in your case would be groundcovers or plants for wet conditions. I don’t know of any food plants that do well in soggy soils. Most want well drained soil and lots of sun. When searching for plants you can also say whether your conditions are sun or shade and that will help narrow the suggestions. There are good instructions on how to use the Toolbox.
