I need help meditating yellow jackets out of the ground in my backyard. I don't know where to begin and i'm wondering if you have any recommendations.

If you prefer not to treat the yellowjacket nest yourself with wasp spray (follow all label directions carefully), then you could hire a pest control professional who has wasp removal experience. Extension does not collect information on businesses and what they offer, nor do we recommend particular companies, but you may be able to find candidates in the membership of the Maryland State Pest Control Association (see the linked page for their search tool).
