A number of years ago it was recommended that I plant crown vetch in a culvert. It is now taking over a native grass field nearby. Is there a way to get rid of it or control it?

This is a difficult plant to control. I'm attaching an article which provides some good tips about how to go about that. Mowing, burning and foliar herbicide are all possible options.
