The best time to control grub worms depends on whether you want to prevent or treat them:
Preventative treatments Apply in the spring or early fall, usually from mid-April to mid-June, before the eggs hatch or the grubs are too big. In the spring, you can apply after the ground thaws to control grubs that overwintered in your lawn. In the summer, you can apply in late June through early August to control newly hatched grubs.
Curative treatments Apply as soon as you see signs of grub damage, such as brown patches of grass or spongy soil. You can also dig up a small section of your lawn to check for grubs. If you see six or more grubs per square foot, you may need to treat your lawn. You can apply grub treatments through mid-summer to September, when grubs are most active and before they become adult beetles.
Read the label of your product for directions when not apply your specific product. It may have to be applied at a specific time. You could google what would work for this time of year.
Also it may not hurt to treat in the spring as well. Be sure to follow all label instructions.

I’m sorry Thomas. As a volunteer and not a licensed specialist I am not allowed to recommend specific chemicals.
I do know you can help your lawn. Good luck!
