Hello, I have heard from a neighbor that there is a lilac blight going through our neighborhood. Our lilacs leaves are brown and falling off. Is there something that we should do to treat it? Should be trim them?

Our wet weather has contributed to fungal disease which sometimes attacks lilacs. It's best to prune out any diseased branches and clean up leaf litter.
