Type of Squash??? #880461

Hello, these squash grew in my backyard garden this summer. I planted zucchini and patty pan but this also grew. I'm hesitant to eat it when I can't name it. Thanks!

Hi Susanne, 

You are right in being cautious.  Although this looks like a Delicata squash doesn't mean it is.  Do to cross pollination, volunteer squash could be toxic.  Check out the following links:
