We do have a sprinkler system that uses an online response to rain. Also, there have been some animals ... moles? ... digging in our lawn that I have tried to get rid of ... about 20 feet from these brown spots.

I can't get a close enough look at the grass to really see but, I'm guessing it's some fungal issue. I can't be certain , but with all the wet weather I'm seeing lots of fungal problems. It looks like Dollar Spot.
