Hi! What is going on with my redbud? This tree is a volunteer that has grown from my neighbors tree and is about 4-5 years old . It is in mostly shade. I would hate for it to die.

It is difficult for me to determine the cause of the problem with your redbud leaves from the photos. Are only the leaves affected? How much of the tree is showing the signs you are concerned about? Have you seen any insects? What variety of redbud is it?
Eastern redbuds have relatively few pests. Stem canker, leaf spots and verticillium wilt may be a problem. The plants may experience some insect damage from leaf rollers, treehoppers, scales, leafhoppers, aphids and spider mites.
