This is not an "invasive" plant, but it is a nasty weed - common name is Marestail or Horseweed. Botanical name is Conyza canadensis. This is an annual but can start growth in winter or summer and finish growth and seeding the next season. Very seedy.
This weed has developed resistance to most household herbicides. Cut down and bag the flower heads or burn them, do not place in compost. When ground is moist, pull up the plants by the roots. Thankfully the seeds are viable for just 3 years so if you keep after them and use smothering mulch in flowers beds you can overcome them. Until neighboring properties let theirs go. Keep mowing the weeds that are in the lawn and ultimately you will starve them out. They can be conquered with diligence.
