Hello. I am new to composting. I am seeing mixed messages online for what I can put in my compost. Is there an article that you can send me on what can and cannot go in compost. One article I read said bread was okay but orange peels and onion was not. Getting confused. Any hep appreciated. Suzanne

Below is a link from the University of MN Extension on basics of home composting. Materials preferred for home composting include any fruit or vegetable scraps, egg shells, coffee grounds and yard waste (non-weed).
