Birch tree infestation #879867

All over my birch tree. Not sure what they are or how to treat. Please advise.

Hi Kimberly -
I believe what you have there is the Azalea argid sawfly larva. I found a link that will explain how to deal with them: https://extension.umn.edu/yard-and-garden-insects/sawflies There are many different types of sawflies. This has been an education, so I appreciate you sending this in.
