Hi we found this in our bathroom, our cat was trying to eat something and this fell from her or out of her mouth. This is the best photo I could get.
Body was hard and it seemed nearly black all over

I can't see enough detail in your photo to say with 100% certainty, but that doesn't really look like a tick to me. It could be the front portion of a spider or part of an insect. If you still have that, you could bring it to your local OSU Extension office and see if they could examine it and tell you what it is. You could also send it to us at the OSU Plant Clinic and we would be able to tell you more.
