My apple tree has been impacted by a bug the past few years ruining the fruit. I’d like to know what I need to do to ensure a healthy tree next season.
Thank you!

The damage looks like apple maggot, please see the links for how to manage it and apple bagging works well on a small scale.

Thank you for replying.
I have tried spraying neem oil after a rain, I have applied sticky traps and caught nothing, and I have bagged my apples to only have the animals take them off.
Specifically what spray do I find at what store to apply and at what times of the year.
What is written here seems to be for large scale orchards and I’m not sure what it would be called at the store for myself to buy.
Also what is the application I would need to follow.
Thanks so much.

Effective pesticides available for apple maggot control are esfenvalerate, carbaryl and spinosad.
