Hello, I am trying to find out what size of mesh barrier I can use around the siding of my house to keep termites out. I am finding lots of mixed information online about the size of mesh to use. Thank you.

I hadn't heard of mesh being used to prevent termite infestations before. Have you previously had a termite problem and are trying to prevent a recurrence?
I looked up some information and it seems that mesh for termite prevention is mostly used in areas with a high risk of termite infestation and it is installed around the foundation, pipes and post to prevent intrusions from subterranean termites. It looks like quite the process to get it installed and is usually put in during construction or major renovation.
Two reputable sources (a US government website and a North Carolina State University website) say that the stainless steel mesh should have aperatures no larger than 0.66 x 0.45 mm. So the mesh is quite fine.
