vines that don't drop seeds #879402

Asked July 30, 2024, 11:45 AM EDT

Are there any vines that grow in the willamette valley that you don't have to worry about any regrowth in a neighbors yard? (talking seeds dropping, suckers, starts, etc...). Looking for privacy by growing a vine onto a chainlink fence between properties. Thanks, Adrian Junctioin City

You might check out climbing roses, clematis, climbing hydrangea (Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris), trumpet honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens), yellow honeysuckle (Lonicera flava), and 'Dropmore Scarlett' (Lonicera x brownii 'Dropmore Scarlet')-avoid all other varieties of honeysuckle as they can be invasive), and Passion vine.
