Birch Tree #879388

I live just south of Minneapolis and have a mature birch tree that is losing some leaves.There is no sign of insects or spots on the leaves. They are just turning yellow and falling off. At this point, it is not a huge amount. I am wondering what might be causing this, and what I can do about it?

Without a photo or more information this is difficult to answer. Please add a photo of the tree and a close-up of one of these leaves, if you can.
