Sadly, we had to take down a large tree next to out driveway due to potential root damage. Now there is a golden dead grass, with a large tree root underground. What would be a good ground cover or plants to plant there in the fall? It will get blasted with sun come next summer. Would like the ground cover to be as evergreen and care free as possible.
