Hi- I found this snail on the roof of my car, in my driveway. Can you identify its species and/or whether it’s native or invasive? I have it in a container and can provide more photos or bring it in person if needed.

Hi Allison,
That is an introduced species called the brown garden snail or sometimes just the garden snail (Cornu aspersum). They are pests in gardens like slugs are and they can be a problem for nurseries because there are quarantines against these snails, so if they are present, they can make plants un-saleable.
This is also the species of snail that is used to make escargot for eating.
