japanese knotweed Herbicide Injector resources #879347

Hi, I live on the Chenango river and want to eradicate the infestation of Knotweed that is growing along the bank. I know glyphosate is used for this purpose, and because of the proximity to the river, I believe direct injection into the stem is the best method. The injection guns I'm looking at are rather expensive, are there any local resources to rent a system for this purpose? Thanks, John
