Honey Locust Trees losing their leaves in July #879043

We have 3 seedless Homey Locust Trees that are about 50 yrs old and have been healthy. However, about 1.5 weeks ago, they started losing their leaves. The first leaves to drop turned yellow and then dropped. Now they just drop green. We have had lots of moisture this year compared to the last 2, so why are they losing their leaves. We do not set in wet or water logged areas. One is in front of the house. The other 2 are in back. We live in Eden Prairie.
