White Oak losing leaves #879019

My white oak is losing leaf bundles from ends of branches. Fallen leaves vary from dark green to some bundles that are light green with dark green veining. They seem to curl up and start to dry out after falling. What is my problem?

Hi Polk,

The first photo looks like oak shothole leaf miner damage. In healthy trees the damage is only cosmetic. See this page:

Squirrel activity may be making leaves drop. Unless the leaves are drying up ON the tree, this seems the logical explanation. See this:
