Determine dogwood tree disease and how to treat #878912

My beautiful backyard tree has a disease. I don’t know what it is nor how to treat. I’ve tried to trim dead branches but notice the white corpuscle type disease on most of the branches. Can this be cured?

Hello,

I checked each of your images with my PictureThis Plant ID app and it identified that tree as a Star Magnolia (Magnolia stellata) not a Dogwood. Also, those white corpuscles are scale.
