We purchased the outdoor yucca plant about 8 yrs. ago. It is in full sun and it has good drainage . Currently four long stems and two seed pods. Lots of buds but only a few are opening. What is the problem???

Do you know the specific species? I'm assuming it's one of the hardy yuccas.
