Egg mass identification #878682

What type of insect egg mass is this? I found it on my car window this morning. I live near Assateague State Park, MD.

Thanks for your question and curiosity! It is difficult to tell for sure, but our entomologist says they are likely some type of moth or butterfly eggs. The only way to know for sure would be to rear them in a protected environment to see what hatches out. We do not recognize them as eggs of a pest or anything harmful.
