White Oak Trees, Oak wilt disease #878611
Asked July 24, 2024, 3:17 PM EDT
I have several very large oak trees on my property, one of which seems to be dying. Approx one third of the limbs seem to be dying (no leaves). My question is do you have someone on staff that could test this tree to confirm oak wilt or some other disease. If you have no one on staff that could do this, could you provide me with some contact information for someone I could reach to further discuss the problem. I would really like to get someone to physically come to my property and do some testing.
Thank you very much for you help.

Our staff does not do assessments on private property.
You should ask an ASA certified arborist to give you an opinion. These are free or very low cost.
There are two issues: the disease and its treatment and an assessment of whether the tree is structurally sound or posing a risk to property.
