I planted my garden in May, but everything is really slow this year. My corn has small ears and tasseled at about five feet high. Tomatoes, cucumbers and squash are all late. Can I have my soil tested and how much would it cost.?

Expert Response
Despite the hot spells we've had, this was a fairly cool spring on average, especially the nighttime lows. Now that summer is in full swing, your crops should be growing better.
However testing your soil is an excellent idea if you have not done it recently. Here are two publications that can help you select a soil testing lab. The cost varies, usually under or over $50 depending on what tests you get. It is an excellent investment in the health of your garden soil.
