Expert Response

Hello Sandra,
I checked your previous questions. We did not receive any about reddish maple leaves. On 6/28 there was a maple leaf identified as having anthracnose spots.

Please attach at 3 pictures of the current issue-
1. A close up shot of leaves turning color.
2. A picture taken far enough back to see the whole tree , soil line to top.
3.  Picture showing the base of the trunk, taken from 6-8 feet away.

To add pictures, click the link in your email and go into your question on the website.

Click the “Drop files here or choose them” below the response box to attach them.

You can upload .jpg, .png, .gif, .txt, or .pdf.

NOTE- each picture must be 8mb or less.

Also, please include the tree history-
How long has it been planted there, approximately?
Has the tree root zone been disturbed recently?
Has anything else happened nearby—flooding, herbicides applied, etc?
I will watch for your reply.
