Bush Beans and Eggplant are being eaten #878515

Asked July 23, 2024, 11:48 PM EDT

My bush beans and eggplant are being eaten, small holes are made in leaves by an unidentifiable insect. Im wondering how to control this issues before the crop is ruined. Also I'm wondering if the plants are getting too much water by drip irrigation and it is encouraging insects?

Thanks for contacting "Ask Extension" with your question about holes in your vegetable leaves. Holes can be caused by various insects, bacteria or fungus. Would it be possible to send me a picture of one of the plants, and a close up picture of the front and back of a leaf?
