My Crepe Myrtle is losing it's bark. I have had the tree the tree for several years and I don't remember this happening before. Several squirrels are often present in this tree.

Shedding outer bark layers is a normal feature for Crapemyrtle trees (once the wood reaches a certain age, which is why it's not present on young plants) and we don't see any health concerns in the photos.
