Expert Response
Hi Verlie and thanks for your question about holes in your soil. There are several animals that may be doing this, from squirrels burying things to birds searching for food. As long as there is no damage associated with the holes, just fill them in and don't worry about it. We have a trail camera that we set up when we want to see what animal is causing issues. It works by movement so we have found many animals active at night.
