Good morning, Dana-
I'm afraid I'm not sure what particular disease you're referring to. Aspen are prone to many issues, some that impact trees for only a short time and others that, when coupled together, may lead to long-term decline. Can you tell me what you're seeing? And by town, am I to assume aspen in the Hayden area? I haven't looked at aspen in Hayden in particular this summer so I'm not sure what symptoms and/or signs you're seeing that causes concern.
If you can send more information and photos, that would be great. We can continue to go through the Ask Extension system or you can feel free to email me directly at <personal data hidden> or call the office at<personal data hidden>.
I saw you at a distance at Jim's services on Sunday. What a wonderful tribute to a great guy.
