Fire Blight #878308

Asked July 22, 2024, 4:12 PM EDT

I have a 3 year old ornamental pear tree that has many branches with dead leaves. How can I be sure that fire blight is the problem and how can it be treated?

Expert Response

Hi Suzette,

Would you be able to send us some photos that show the dead leaves and of the whole tree with both healthy and dead leaves?  It is almost impossible to diagnose a problem w/o seeing it.
Thank you,

Hi Suzie,

Thank you for sending pictures; however, the four we received were all the same, showing just the small branch with brown leaves.  Would you please send a picture of the entire tree?  Thank you.
