Grubs have killed a lot of grass at my Minneapolis two-unit. I would like to to replace the glass with a grub-resistant ground cover that also would work with a dog being able to do his business and me being able to clean up. Someone suggested microclover. What do you recommend? Low maintenance preferred. Thank you.

Expert Response
Turf type tall fescue grass combined with microclover is recommended by several commercial sources. I did not find any research based recommendations for your requirement. The following is general ground cover information.
