Good question! With fruit trees it can vary depending on when their bloom time is and if we have a frost that interferes with it. For example, different varieties of apple trees bloom at various times in the spring, some earlier that others. Some years the early bloomers get hit with a spring front and don't flower. 
This is not typically the case with raspberries, however. Are the raspberries newly planted. Are they summer or fall bearing fruit?
