Attached you'll find the results of the subject soil test I had sent off to the UofM.
I followed the directions on p. 2.
I passed the "Three Rs" in grade school but I have difficulty understanding the results of my test. It appears the soil I have taken from the area in my backyard is high in organic matter and very high in phosphorus - perhaps too high...
How do I bring every category back into acceptable limits?

Thank you for writing.
Ignore the phosphorus (aside from not adding more)
Pretend you get a NPK 10-05 sustained [slo] release.
Assuming you have 1000 square feet, you need .7 pounds of N and 1 pound of potassium.
A 10 pound bag will have 10% nitrogen or 1 pound
That same bag will have a pound pf potassium.
Close enough.
