Brown yellow spots in lawn #878234

We have several 3” - 5” diameter yellow brown dead grass spots in our lawn. They are in our front yard almost in rows. There are no trees in this space it faces south so full sun and irrigation keeps the area covered. What can we do to get rid of them.

Hi,
We had it confirmed it is red thread. We are scheduling aeration and overseeing this fall along with continued fertilization. Thanks for your help.
