Hello Nathan,
The short and quick answer is yes , There are a couple Oak tree diseases we are dealing with.
If you could provide a few good pictures of the trees in question we may be able to help you with a better answer.
Pictures should be of specific areas of the tree, close up if possible and of the overall tree as well. If there are more than one try to include them also Pictures of the whole tree should include the canopy, the upper portion of the tree.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you
I hope these pictures help. Let me know if you need more information. The tree is a white oak and the foliage appears to be a lot thinner this year.
Hello again Nathan,
From the pictures provided, I am inclined to believe what you are seeing is the result of the weather we had early in the spring due to the warmer than usual temperatures followed by wet cool weather.
From the pictures it does not appear that your tree has Oak Wilt Disease, it could however have signs of leaf scorch disease or possibly chlorosis .
I have included a few links to information on diseases of Oak trees . I would also suggest that you may wish to have a reputable tree service , one who has a certified arborist like Davey Tree, in your area collect a sample and have it submitted for testing at a lab . These problems are difficult to diagnose and should be confirmed by a lab.
