Weird Bug #878206

Can you identify this bug for me? I found him/her in the dirt and rocks around a maple tree in our front yard. Sorry about the blurry pic....my iPhone doesn't have a macro lens. Do notice the fake eyes....pretty clever!

It appears to be the enoclerus muttkowski beetle and it very cool looking, I am surprised there isn’t more information about it.
