I’d like to know what bug this is please. I found one under my pillow at home in Brighton and another one dead on the bathroom floor of our cabin up north. I also have what may be bug bites on my back, maybe from the bug I found under my pillow? This bug was 1/4-3/16” long. I’d like to know what this bug was so I know if I have to, or how to, deal with it. Thank you.

I'm sorry but I cannot identify the bug (beetle) from your photos. I note that not all the legs remain attached (should be 6 legs). Here are links to some sites on bug ID that you might use to obtain an ID:

Another option is to send an email with photos to MSU Plant & Pest Diagnostics (MSU Plant & Pest ID) and ask their entomologist for an identification. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.
