I want to transition my mostly vegetable garden to a pollinator area. i live in an area with lots of deer (Worthington) and the perennials I now have are mostly resistant. Is there a book or publication you can recommend that could provide some helpful info? Thanks. Kip Clager

What a great idea!
I know deer can be a challenge, but there are allot more options to native flowers and perennials that the deer may avoid.  I found this article that will give you guide lines in making your area a success, including native plants and perennials.  There is also a link at the end to help you find additional suggestions.
Best of luck in your new endeavor! Hopefully, next year this time you will be looking at a very colorful array of flowers and butterflies!
Thanks for using Ask a Master Gardener!
