How and when can I prune my PeeGee Hydrangea tree. The. Branches have grown to be long and of course now budding. My thought is probably early spring but then is it still safe. I don't want to lose any flowering Thank you you a.lways help me with all my issues

PeeGee hydrangea bloom on new wood so you don't need to worry about cutting off buds.

I would prune in very early spring, that way if you suffer any winter damage you can take that into consideration.
