Cherry Slugs #877871

Hello, How do you get rid of cherry slugs/sawfly larvae? Can I still eat the mesabi cherries even when their leaves were affected? I used Neem Oil spray and that seemed to help. But some cherries are brown on the inside. I have three trees infected. I live in Duluth. Thank you!!

My first thought is that you have spotted wing drosophila because I have never seen sawflies on cherry trees;
