We’ve previously used cocoa been mulch in our garden but its cost has really risen. We were thinking of using cypress mulch as a lower-cost alternative; do you think that’s a good choice or would you recommend something else? Our main concern is weed prevention. Thanks.

Any mulch should work fine for weed control.
