Hello, I have dreams of having a perfectly level, dark green, low cut, perennial rye grass lawn haha. Most of my research on how to accomplish this has been from YouTube videos. I was wondering if there are any resources/events or recommended local lawn companies to help me accomplish this goal. Most of the lawn care companies I have reached out to so far have a pretty standard 6 treatment plan with little variation or room for change.

If you don't already have a perennial rye grass lawn and are planning to plant a new lawn, you may want to read the attached fact sheet from OSU about Turfgrass for Lawns that states: "A 100% perennial rye grass lawn is NOT recommended, use with another grass such as Kentucky bluegrass. Use only Gray Leaf Spot resistant cultivars." This document suggests specific seed mixes that include perennial rye grass.
