Hi,
I’m wondering if I can still plant cranberry bush beans? Will they have time to fully mature and dry out for dry storage? It’s mid July.
I live in the Gorge where temperatures typically are 6-9 degrees cooler than Portland. We get high chilly winds starting mid October.

Thank you for your question, Andrea. You have a 50/50 chance of their ripening in time. Your soil is certainly warm enough (https://extension.oregonstate.edu/news/it-time-get-those-green-beans-ground), and you might be able to extend the season using row covers for a while.
