So all my pepper plants are struggling badly. Looked either diseased or insect related. Not sure. This images are of jalapeno, ghost, scorpian , habanero and last image is of red bell pepper with bigger leaves wilting. The jalapeno are nearly dead.they were the first to get this what ever it is and it seams to be spreading all the others. Last year I had al these and they did super.

Expert Response

Dear Paul,

Hello from Master Gardeners Shari and Holly. We looked at your photos and did some research. Your plants look like they could be suffering in the dry heat, they may need water, or according to our research, overwatering could cause a similar result. It does not necessarily look like disease from what we can see in the photos, but if you think it is and you'd like us to take a closer look, you are welcome to bring in a sample to the office. Plant diagnosis has a cost of $5. Please come during Hotline hours which are Mon, Weds, and Fri 9am-12pm and someone can take a look.

Good luck, keep a good eye on the plants PS the jalapenos look ready for eating!
