I am teaching a high school environmental science class this fall, and we will be exploring the forests and meadows surrounding the school. The students will be making food webs and assessing different areas for biodiversity. Do you have any resources for Michigan food webs? For example, common plants, insects that eat them, birds that eat them, etc. All I am finding online is Great Lakes food webs. I'm located in Ann Arbor, so I'm interested in Southeast Michigan forest and meadow food webs. Thank you!
