Both of these plants are on our property near Federalsburg MD. The one with cross-shaped flowers is about 12 inches tall, and the other is nearly 3 feet tall.

Those are pretty cool, and both are native to Maryland.
The plant with the pink flowers looks like a type of Meadowbeauty (Rhexia), and we think the purple flower looks like on of the Monkeyflowers, possibly Allegheny Monkeyflower (Mimulus ringens).
